I was skeptical.  Now I'm outraged.  You should be, too.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has labeled you, a member of the pro-life community, THE MOST DANGEROUS DOMESTIC TERRORIST.

The DHS warning entitled:  ''Rightwing Extremism:  Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment'' is so troubling that at first, I actually didn't believe that Homeland Security could issue such a document.

But it's true.  We've verified it.  And make no mistake, this unconstitutional report raises serious questions about the leadership and direction of the agency charged with protecting Americans in the ongoing battle against terrorism.

Why would the Department of Homeland Security single out groups like pro-life supporters when they should be focusing on identifying and apprehending the real terrorists - like al-Qaeda - groups that have vowed to destroy America?

This characterization is not only offensive to millions of Americans who hold constitutionally-protected views opposing abortion - but also raises serious concerns about the political agenda of an agency with a mandate to protect America.

Barack Obama's administration has made it clear that they will continue to use the tools of political warfare - as articulated by some of Obama's mentors including Saul Alinsky and William Ayers - against those who disagree with their radical far-left policies.

After several hundred thousand patriotic, upstanding Americans gathered on April 15th for tax day "tea parties," Obama's spokesman, David Axelrod had this to say:  "I think any time that you have severe economic conditions, there is always an element of disaffection that can mutate into something that's unhealthy."

Yes, that's right, "mutate" into something "unhealthy" -- that's how Barack Obama's administration responded to those patriotic Americans who opposed trillions of dollars in out-of-control federal spending, and who also opposed bailouts and higher taxes.

But we aren't really surprised, are we?  After all, Obama's Department of Homeland Security has followed Obama's lead in denouncing the concept of a War on Terror to fight Islamic terrorists, and instead announced that the threat to America comes from conservatives.  Oh, and to them, a domestic terrorist is apparently anyone who is pro-life, wants secure borders, or is a returning veteran who served in Iraq or Afghanistan.  It all makes sense in a sort of sick way that they abhor the idea of talking about the "War on Terror" if they think our military men and women who served in it are somehow a threat to this nation.

So it shouldn't surprise any of you that under this administration the FBI was directed to spy on those who participated in any of the recent tea parties.

Friends, if I had written to you a few months ago and predicted that these kinds of actions would take place here in America, many of you would not have believed me.

But that is exactly what is happening right now here in the United States of America, and as we like to say: Our Country Deserves Better!

Well, it's up to us to fight for a better America, and it's important for each of you to understand that the only thing Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid understand and respect is this: power.  That's what they wanted, that's what they worked so hard to get, and that is the only thing they care about.  And they're going to do everything they can to keep that power.

And so it is up to us to use the democratic means afforded to us in this great Republic, and deprive them of their power, and we here at the Our Country Deserves Better Committee have a plan to do just that.

The first thing I want you all to do is mark your calendars for the following time period:  August 28th - September 12th of this year.

Between those dates we will be launching a national effort that will target the worst offenders in Congress who have been voting for the massive spending, socialistic policies of government takeovers of sectors of our economy, mortgage bailouts, auto bailouts, financial services bailouts, and higher taxes.

We will be providing additional details to you when we make our proper formal announcement of this effort next week.  But suffice it to say this is the most exciting effort I've ever been a part of, because what we are putting together could save our country, and our children's future, from the harmful actions of Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

Remember this:  Barack Obama spent more than 2 years putting together his campaign for president before the 2008 election campaign had even started.  While the 2010 congressional elections may be more than one-year away, the campaigns have already begun to be organized by the politicians we will be targeting.  So we've got a huge amount of work to do, and no time to waste.  We must begin getting organized now.

After many of the tea parties were over, a number of you said "that was great, but what do we do to actually take action and change things."

I received a very topical question from a Daily Profit reader … 

Do you think that Obama is a legitimate "for the ordinary people" real deal, or is he just another cleverly marketed pretty face representing the interests of the ruling class? If you prefer call them the rich, the wealthy, the owners, the bosses … whatever works for you. In the end they are the same people. I deliberately did not label them as capitalists because I believe that they are corrupt capitalists, scamming the game in their favor even though their performance is proven to be mediocre. In real capitalism, ability and performance matter. As in, let the failed banks, brokerages, etc fail and allow the strong to take them over. When I read about these recent government led bailouts it becomes clear that we have been set up and conned into taking the hit for the unworthy managers, making it possible - inevitable - for the rich to triumph regardless of their audacious arrogance and incompetence.  This is not what I understand capitalism to be - and it stinks! 

I have to admit, I started to get sucked in by the President's charm the day he stood on the steps of the Capitol and told us of the sacrifices and hard work that lay ahead for Americans.  

I also must now admit that I am extremely disappointed in how President Obama he has dealt with continuing problems on Wall Street. He has repeatedly shown that he is unwilling to take a hard line with the likes of AIG, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and all the rest.  

When the bankers can dictate policy, America is in serious trouble. That's what got us to where we are now and quite frankly, President Obama doesn't seem to be changing this situation, for whatever reason, and you're right: it stinks.  

Wall Street has essentially robbed America. And now Washington is driving the getaway car. Washington is essentially helping Wall Street with the cover up, doling out ridiculous sums to maintain the status quo. 

Americans should be outraged. Why there aren't massive protests against the way Washington is continuing to let Wall Street run the show is beyond me. I'm not talking about partisan actions like the "Tea Parties" to protest tax hikes. And there aren't any specific policies that have led to this situation. It's a culture, a revolving door between Washington and Wall Street.  

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's plan to overpay banks for the toxic assets using taxpayer money is a prime example of just how sick the system is. And it's complete and utter BS. Take the banks over, fire all executives, remove the boards of directors, strip out the toxic assets and sell the banks back to private investors. Period. That's the only way to end this mess.   

So long as the Obama administration continues to place the interests of Wall Street above the interests of Americans, it cannot be considered an agent of change. And I couldn't be more sad about the unwillingness of those in power to do what's right.
